In imagining how we wanted to make people feel when entering our little corner of the internet, it made us pause and consider what our purpose was in sharing parts of our lives with others. And almost immediately after the pause, the words “encourage, empower, and equip,” came to mind.
We don’t want to add to the noise, because we know there’s a lot out there. But what we long to do is add value to those looking for what we have to offer.
We hope to encourage others to dream big and embrace growth. We want to empower others to live out their values daily. And, most importantly, we aim to equip anyone willing to step out of their comfort zones to achieve more than they ever imagined.

Faith, family, wellness, growth, and impact … these five values act as driving forces in our lives and allow us to move through life with confidence.
Faith grounds us.
The one core value that determines the rest is our faith. Our faith in God is what we always put first and how we move forward with big and small life decisions. We live with love, hope, and peace in our hearts and minds. And we can only pray that our faith shows through our words in order to encourage and inspire you!
Wellness fuels us.
When it comes to wellness, the Whalen philosophy is to consider what it means to be “well” in all areas of our lives. This includes our faith and family in addition to other aspects like our physical health, mental health, and financial health.
Growth strengthens us.
Over the years, we have devoted a lot of energy into developing a growth mindset. We believe that we can learn new skills, improve, and grow every single day. We aim to encourage you, empower you, and equip you to embrace growth in every aspect of life.
Impact changes us.
Lastly, we value impact. We wish for nothing more than for our daily actions to make an impact on those around us. Whether it’s in person or online, we hope that what we say and do inspires others to move into action and be difference-makers.
